WORK PROGRAM

  • During the transformation of the port companies into shareholder companies our Union will try to achieve a concrete position and role of every employee in the participation of the ownership as also the security of the working place, using every possibility given by the Law of sea ports and the Law of privatisation.
  • After the registration of the Indipendent union of small shareholders we will organise every activity related to the activity of the Shareholder Company, and we will especialy try to determine the mutual activity with the previous employees and the retired one.

  • In the process of work we will try to insure the Collectivity contract, the Contract of employment and the Law of work.

  • Initiate The procedure of concluding the tarif part of the Collectivity contract in the company and a sector Collectivity contract on a state level.

  • Initiate the initiative for determining the responsibility in the work of the management for non-acomplishing the determined goals, violation of the autorisation and abuse of the position.

  • Organisation of seminars for the persons in charge and to perform activities related to care of employees on the work, prevention and in case of injury at work, together with the council for the protection on work.

  • Organisation of special training and further improvement of potential Union persons in charge and member of the work council.

  • Develop and perform as much as it is possibly the security of each member.

  • Make any procedure related to the founding of new Union branch-offices.

  • Exchange information and knowledge with unions of Croatian and foreign ports.

  • Perform changes and addition of the stuatute and regulations under the performed implementation of the microorganisation, that searches a new way of union organisation.

  • Perform activity defined by the statute as also any other activity on the demand of membership.

THE RIGHTS THAT OUR MEMBERS HAVE

The basic right of an employee of a union member is to take care of the wages, security at work and condition of work. This right is ensured with a worker contract signed up by port company.

By becoming a member of our Union, the worker has the next rights:

  • A general contract that regulates the rights and the obligation of the worker
  • A Brochure containing the Statute of the Docker's Union of Croatia
  • A Brochure containing a collectivity contract for the employees of the port companies
  • A Brochure containing the Law about work
  • A Brochure containing the Law about sea ports

A free law protection that includes:

  • representing the member in front of a discipline institution
  • protection of the member in front of a comission for complains
  • protection of the member in front of a judge and managment
  • protection and aid in the procedure of refunding the damage
  • each day law assistance that is given directly to it's member

Material aid:

  • possibility of use of the cass of mutual help
  • a money lawn regarding a writen question without any explanation
  • a money lawn for expenses oh healing or funeral up to 3.600,00 kn or even more if it is voted by the directing comission
  • one money paying in case of a death of a member of the union to his family up to 4.000,00 kn

Other kind of aid:

  • procure of different kind of articles under best conditions without any interest rate for the paying
  • procuring firewood under rate payment with the option 1 m = 1 rate
  • a gift to the children of the members for "Saint Nicolaus"
  • gifts to the members for the christmass - new year festivity
  • education of sindical members
